Paar was another host that came to television via radio. He retired from television in 1992, and retired from public life as well, rarely appearing on television, and almost never giving interviews. Carson was given credit for launching the careers of dozens of comedians and new talents on his show. Carson taped the show in New York until 1972, when the show moved to California. Carson was offered, and accepted "The Tonight Show" job after the former host quit the show. The job was ultimately given to Dick Van Dyke, and Carson continued his game show until 1962. In 1960 he was being considered for the role of Rob Petrie in a Carl Reiner TV pilot. He then became a game show panelist, and ultimately in 1957 was given his own game show called "Who Do You Trust" which lasted for five years. He had his own variety show in the 1950s called "The Johnny Carson Show" which was not very successful. ![]() Carson started as a radio comedian in Omaha, Nebraska in the early 1950s. “She ended up marrying Chris Robinson and having a baby,” he said.All listed hosted the show at one time or another, but it was Carson who became synonymous with late night television. After she nodded, the host responded, “Why on Valentine’s Day? Why didn’t you wait two days?” “Did you break up with someone?” asked Fallon. “The answer to the question - I’m not proud of - but it would be, ‘Also, I’m sorry to do this on Valentine’s Day,” she said. The actress went first and took a moment to think about her answer after she read her question. They then had to choose to take a shot or reveal what the question was to the audience. The player would read the question silently and answer out loud. Each shot glass sat on a coaster with a personal question on it. The host explained that the players were each given two shots and a glass of beer. ![]() Robbie also joined Fallon in a game of “Loaded Questions” during her appearance. Everyone saw the movie and honestly nothing could have been better and then that happened and then I was like, ‘This is just the best night of my life.'” It’d already been the most magical night. “And we had already had the best night ever. “Everyone was just like, ‘Ahh!’ Everyone was crying,” she said.
